Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will take on each other in a highly anticipated battle on April 22 in Las Vegas.
Golden Boy Promotions revealed the fight had been agreed upon while the American boxers posted on social media to confirm the match.
During their 12-round, non-title bout, Davis and Garcia will square off at a negotiated catch weight of 136 pounds.
Garcia has 19 stoppages in his 23 victories, whereas Davis has 26 knockout victories in his 28 victories.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena are potential venues for the fight in Las Vegas, but organisers have also looked into the prospect of holding it at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the NFL team the Las Vegas Raiders.
Before their fight, the two were scheduled to compete in interim bouts, but only Davis followed through on that plan as he defeated Hector Luis Garcia by technical knockout in the ninth round on January 7 in Washington.
Garcia was rumoured to face Filipino southpaw Mercito Gesta, but he finally chose to forego the fight and go straight for the Davis battle.
In his previous contest, Garcia defeated Dominican southpaw Javier Fortuna in the sixth round by forcing the stoppage in Los Angeles on July 15.
